The EXTRACT Plus filter bag is our most durable design. This cylinder-shaped bag is designed with thicker, 3.5” polypropylene straps that reenforce the stitching & fabric seams. This filter bag is durable for many ethanol extraction sessions in centrifuge extractors so that you can process lots of biomass without needing a new bag. The EXTRACT Plus model is especially important when ordering bags larger than 18” in diameter.

Within our most durable design, the Twill Material variant is even more durable EXTRACT Plus Filter Bag. This design features durable twill material (est. 10-100 μm) to maximize for durability and efficiency. As one extraction operator stated in regards to a twill material bag, this is "20x better" than normal bags. 

Materials

All our bags are polyester with polypropylene straps. Micron ratings are subject to small manufacturing margins of error.

Filter bags with 73-75 micron ratings are comparable with the Delta Separations Centrifuge Utility Platform (CUP) OEM bags.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for fabrication and shipping.

Dimensions

Pick a size that fits your centrifuge extraction machine. If the bag is too big, it will keep spinning after the centrifuge stops and won't last as long. If the bag is too small, the weight of the biomass will put undue pressure on the bag during the spin cycle.

Our standard sizes are:
- 19” d x 15” h (CUP-30)
- 13” d x 13” h (CUP-15)
- 6.5” d x 10.5” h
- 25” d x 19” h

Please note that the CUP30 and CUP15 sizes are designed to fit Delta Separations centrifuges as an improvement on their OEM bags.

Care Instructions

We recommend carefully ensuring that you pick the size that fits your centrifuge extraction machine. If the bag is too big, it will keep spinning after the centrifuge stops and won't last as long.
